BEING AN EDUCATOR (among other things), the first thing I check when given the academic calendar is the holidays. Red-lettered days, long weekends, term breaks and of course, the summer vacation! Long-term planning occurs rarely as I have realised through the years that I will go where I am supposed to go.
Sharing the stories of people who went out of their way to talk/help/share themselves to me along the way, delightful and bizarre food I’ve sampled, places discovered and culture experienced is my way of keeping the memories alive and hopefully stir others to explore, discover and always look for the best in people.
