Yes, it’s just a few days after the Chinese New Year and a lot of incidents have already transpired. Willthis be the pattern for the whole year? I hope not. Well, let’s see what they are.
First off is the New Corona Virus form Wuhan, China. Yes, a virus from China just in time for the Chinese New Year. As of this writing, 27 January 2020, a number of airports and trains sttaions have closed down in China to control and hopefully spread the stop. There have been more than a 1,000 infected and 81 people have died and it keeps spreading.
Second, the crash of Kobe Bryant. If you’re not into basketball, you might not know him but look him up and he is one of THE LEGEND. His daughter was with him along with other people in the helicopter crash in California at 26 January 2020.
Third, Taal Volcano eruption in the Philippines. Yes, the volcano within a volcano known as Taal is actually surrounded by a lake. I was able to literally see the lake not less than 5 meters away when I was in college in La Salle, with the rope from the hanging bridge breaking and some of our Theater Club members got hurt due to the fall. Everyone typically sees it kilometres away, the volcano being around three inches wide and an inch tall thanks to the “view from the top”.
Last, a plane crashed in a Taliban controlled area in Afghanistan where no one survived and pilots are the only recognizable ones.
Hopefully, it’s just a bang – where these will stop the next.
