Indian Foodie and Photographer’s Haven in Jakarta

If you’re one of those people who enjoy Indian food and love taking photographs, there’s one place I can confidently recommend in Jakarta – not only is the lighting perfect for photos but the buffet is reasonably priced as well.

Welcome to The Royal Kitchen in Bellagio Mall, Jakarta.

From the appetiser, which I ordered again, to dessert, it’s a literal feast for the senses.  They have a Sunday Buffet if you can’t decide what to eat or would like to partake of  a variety of North Indian food.  I have great fondness for Indian food but until now, a recall of their names leads me to a dead end.  I can easily give a rundown of the taste and appearance but somehow, the names just wouldn’t stay with me.  Only one thing I remember, the classic Mango Lassi.

Obviously, the hunger made me forget to take photos of the food, including the buffet table.  I was busy stuffing my mouth with all those delectable contents for the stomach that all I can show would be empty plates.  Relax and let your eyes enjoy the stylish displays and soft lighting after the meal.  Take dramatic photos of the bric-a-bracs carefully placed to highlight the area and help you relax.
