“Selamat Malam!” That’s the greeting you will hear as you open the glass door to go inside. Yes, that’s a standard greeting anywhere but this time, I saw a big smile and a sincere acknowledgement.
Tucked in the main road of Serpong Raya lies a quaint cake shop that will attract your eyes’ attention. Located way after Bunderan Alam Sutera and a few meters before you turn left to Gading Serpong on the left side is where you’ll stand, mesmerised at the sight of all those tiny sources of sugar you try to avoid
The solemn lighting gives each slice its own personality. One can choose between the cakes, pastries, ice cream and coffee for an after dinner unwinding. The espresso along with the Salted Caramel Cheesecake are highly recommended. Tastefully chosen pop music with some classics in between is perfect if you have a book you’ve been wanting to read. The framed pencil sketches give the place an elegant ambience that is also soothing to the eyes.
For a relaxing and meaningful conversation fuelled by nibbles that are light on the tummy.
